Meet the Bees directions & requirements

We are looking forward to meeting you for your session of Meet the Bees at Brecon ~Beecombs. You can find detailed information about the session HERE

Start time is 13.30 hrs and we should be finished by 15.30 hrs

ARRIVAL INFORMATION
Driving Directions
Brecon Beecombs apiary is at The Good Life Wales located within the farm of Blaenclydach LD3 8RD between Trecastle and LLywel villages approximately 11.5 miles from Brecon town.
If you are coming from the Merthyr Tydfil direction using the A470 or from Abergavenny using the A40. Continue on the A40 from Brecon in the direction of Llandovery & Sennybridge. Drive for approximately 11.5 miles staying on the A40 and you will come to the village of Trecastle.
Drive through Trecastle and as leaving the village you will see a right hand turning to the farm of Bronydd Mawr. Turn right here (if you come to the Llywel turning you have gone too far!) Follow this lane up around to the right and continue until you reach the farm of Bronydd Mawr. Continue (slowly) through the farmyard and follow the road to the end. You will pass several fields and a cattle grid keep to the right and you will descend into our driveway where you will see the sign for “THE GOOD LIFE WALES” and “BLAENCLYDACH” Continue slowly down the drive (as quite steep). There is a gate at the bottom of the drive. Open the gate and drive through (please close behind you)
Parking
Once you have driven through the gate continue straight ahead into the guest parking area behind the Cottages  (there is signage for parking as you drive in). Please park your car to allow space for others parking. Thank you

If you are using Google Maps just type in The Good Life Wales as your destination and a route should be created directly to us. You can also download a route planner to your mobile.

We will provide the protective bee suit for visiting the bee hives – if you can bring wellington boots or tall lace up boots to tuck the suit into. Please let me know the size of bee suit you will need (Small, Medium or Large)
